Every so often the speedo just drops off and stops working, turn ignition off and the battery light stays lit (while driving) then speedo comes back up along with glowplugs ect when ignition switched back on. If ignition is then turned off again all dash goes blank as it does when turning the car off.
Once or twice it has come back on as alone but usually have to turn ignition. Light never stays on when turning car off and battery does not drain. No power drop or anything else only the speedo that stops working. It's a 2.1 with my old 1.9 loom never done it before. I'm thinking an earth somewhere? But on what?
