Have thought about doing some night navigation rallies but I'm away studying Engineering at the moment! Bit of a bummer to be away from it.  Dodgy

Ah, fair play. I bet. I did it years ago in a classic Mini, but ruined almost everything on the car! It was too low & in some ways not built correct for road rallies. Need a car which is high on rally/AT tyres. And a good navigator too!  lol

Any videos of this thing going?

Are you running a 1.8 d turbo box or a 306 box?

Theres a couple:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rwVCjm0x9c0

Some fettling has been done since those runs however.
Running the standard 1.8 straight diesel box, simply swapped the clutch arm from the 306 box.  Quite short geared, tops out at 110mph. Good acceleration though!
I would probably have swapped the 306 box on but a friend needed spares for his 106 cup car that had shagged a few synchros. But ideally I probably would like it a bit longer but wanted to see what it was like.

Fitted a front mount, removed egr Gubbins from xantia Mani. Tigged it up. Fitted my top strut brace, gave it an oil change. Cranked the boost up to around 23-24psi. Kept up with a mapped and cammed 182 Clio with ease. Its almost scary quick. Puts on speed almost too quick haha.
Refitted the MBC and got it to function, it pinned the gauge for a while during setup lol. Some interesting noises at 30+psi  Rofl Rofl but now running a steady 1.6ish bar with constant power right up to around 5500. Doesn't seem to drop off at all. Tempted to do a dyno to check the output out of curiousity. Still have a 10mm pump head to fit and a water/meths kit but after that not sure what to do! May need a new crazy project.
Gti front setup to be polybushed and slotted in, just havent had time. Also need non crappy tyres as it will light the wheels in second and third with ease until grip occurs at around 70mph lol.

Also fitted some reconditioned injectors stolen from eBay for £45 posted!
And had a peek into the gt2056s after 3000ish miles at 19-20psi running with mesh filter as it was all I had. No wear on the blades I don't think was there before and still tight as a drum thankfully!

Cheers lads!
Stuck it on the dyno for a few runs, I am told the dyno itself is fairly accurate and friends cars who have visited others have made consistent figures, however ideally it could do with better accuracy, on the best run it pulled 176.7hp and 247lbft.

Ill upload some vids of the pulls to the tube.
Stripped a 10mm head off a pump tonight, not sure whether to chase 200hp and pray the rods stay inside or just leave it as is, well set up with the front mount now, running nicely, reliable, and a comfortable 150-160hp at the wheels.

Its been eating 106gtis and glanzas for breakfast, and staying level with a 182 Clio.
Have a water/meths kit I could also plumb up. Been working flat out haven't had much time recently.
It could also do with a new valeo clutch soonish, not slipping just worn.
