My china gti 6

So I'll start from the beginning! I had a clio sport 172 bought for £950 and eventually sold it for 2k with all the bits I had for it! So the hunt was on for an ideal replacement! So
I bought it in January 2013 totally standard and a nice clean example with 80k on the clock for £1100!
[Image: c62ec7a3aca7755762126a1ee645f3d4-1.jpg][Image: 2d1e24645928f2781579f6a69f2ff27d-1.jpg]

So nothing was really done for the first few months then started getting a blowy exaust so was replaced with a magnex 3 inch stainless system including decat

Then the weather got a bit better so started to refresh my wheels and spray them a dark grey
[Image: 356d02db6a5f71e29229b98d49e5f8dd-1.jpg]

How it looked after a good clean polish and all the wheels done
[Image: 789285103f40e199b4e86406becef6ab-1.jpg][Image: ce0e6cb5378633039e99df705ad7ed6f-1.jpg][Image: aeaa00cdfb76c3e56a48e44eec285c3d-1.jpg]

So was happy with how it was coming together just need to be lowered and a few other bits and it would be really coming together! But as with everyone money became tight and not much happened to it for a while, then unfortunately I had an accident and hit a mini
[Image: 244f850d07a5f794cd75547c66101403-1.jpg][Image: 62db15c4280bc6fb9df9ddb52b8438a9-1.jpg]

I didn't bother claiming for my car as would probably just rite it of so sourced a new light and and put things back together the best I could for the time being
[Image: 6fbee9487b07230b0612867218bdcd48-1.jpg]

So after a few months of gathering funds I set about repairing the damaged bits and having bits resprayed including spraying my bottom grill to spruce it up a bit and luguna splitter I also sprayed [Image: ab98368d7646ca6e3d6ce572d0464359-1.jpg][Image: 77b0c63cc40d20fcd1cd5ddcbc38648f-1.jpg][Image: bde297b02f3f6175ef5cdbe2ca6ecd04-1.jpg][Image: 0a035e90d09fa1cd271ed6aef324755f-1.jpg][Image: 8952a6ec40ce287b39a194f3b5faab15-1.jpg]

And finally all back together and all resprayed [Image: 150a1e67fb9d18f04309b1e646617122-1.jpg][Image: 516d59d9c9e23620adeaecfad9054693-1.jpg]

So after that was all done I wanted to do something different with the wheels! Wanted something that stands out! So I decided I'd go for this colour
[Image: e3cd8b8c537978c9b9f2df39c331f1b6-1.jpg]
Now I no it's not going to agree with everyone but I really liked it and this is how they looked on the car
[Image: 4f84363e2773cf75859fe33189e4eed0-1.jpg][Image: f88e21c9f07c1c740cf0df49fc880c67-1.jpg][Image: 6c84898d8c74d1d4b28341888a6bded0-1.jpg][Image: ae6b5ef45f6095f5055a06ff16c37841-1.jpg][Image: 4d1cb5d6c839dfd808cd5ad5fd7173b0-1.jpg]

And then I picked up some coil overs for a reasonable price! And so I set about getting them on last weekend but haven't got any pics yet, any comments will be appreciated and will keep it updated

Well I'm back of holiday now and greeted with good news! The 6 flew through mot ! Which I was shocked at! But still very happy! Could lower the rear though as the torsion bars are seized solid! So going for a refurb one but where's best to get one from?

Hey, I like the wheel colour, seems to work with the blue, not sure about the nose matching, maybe the surround needs to be done as well or make it satin black. Guaranteed to work. Good work though, keep it up.

Well I took the car out at the weekend last time this year and first time without the rear seats and I hated it! To many rattles and road noise! Must be a sign of getting old! So they are going to have to go back in I'm thinking!

What a cracking looking 306, very nice indeed. Gotta say, I can't decide if I like the red wheels or not at the moment.
I did like them when they were dark grey, but like you say, might just be a case of getting used to them.
Still a very smart car though Wink

So got a new deep dish steering wheel of the misses for Xmas don't think it's a genuine omp though but I won't tell her that lol just need a boss now! So anyone no where the best place to get them from? [Image: 8997d62fee0f72ba5111f7ae67d47db7.jpg]
Also took the mirrors of the other day going to give them a paint and then some carbon covers hopefully and also I want some black masks to at some point!
I also want to paint my centre console but undecided if I should spray it red to match the wheels or it might look to much? I did get a price on it being hydrodiped carbon but was nearly going to be £100
