So long story short, the Jag had to go back due to an immobiliser fault that was taking too long to fix.

I'm keeping an eye out for another S-type, but they are few and far between in the spec I want for my budget.

So can anyone recommend some cars based on the below criteria?

-Not too fussed on engine, petrol, diesel, or both lol
-Must have leather
-Must have Climate control
-Must have cruise control
-£2000 or less.

So a pretty vague list. I've looked at everything from Toyota Soarers to Saab 9-3s.

Can anyone think of anything that fits the above?

Cheers

Mondeo ST-220, same 3.0L V6, lovely place to be in, lovely sound and handle well for such a large car.
My friend has got one and I love it for what it is.

Another vote for the ST220. ST200 if your budget is a bit tight. (Imo possibly the nicer car anyway)

alfa 156 2.4jtdm

ticks all the boxes
175 bhp and does 60mpg cruising down to italy fully laden, air con on and including driving over the alps.

If we hadnt gone over the top of the grand pass st bernard (wonderful road to drive) and got stuck in a 2 hour traffic jam on the way back it would probably of avaeraged closer to 65mpg

Mondeo = cheap as chips with lots of toys!

406 Exec/C5 Exclusive = Good old Frenchness

Saab = Extras that actually work, but seems a bit dull on the exterior. Get a petrol turbo, the scene is as big as the diesel tuning one on here, but the numbers get much much bigger.

This, mines only 10v 150 bhp though.
Lovely place to be, and sounds amazing.

BMW e46 330D. 2k will get you an earlier 180bhp model but they can be chipped to over 200 bhp.
