remove rad, bumper and grill and "easily accessible ancilliaries" and out the top

dont forget not to roll the car with the driveshafts out, as the bearings will fall to peices.
Given the choice between Niall and the sheep. I would choose the sheep!

Down to personal preference - I've done 'em both ways - depends how you feel

Last couple I've done out the top, and removed whole front end, but you can go in and out without

I was thinking to go down. Leave on pallets let car up on ramp do everything I need and lower the car back down. That way engine doesnt move. But then again I think its subframe off

Itll fit down the bottom without touching the subframe will it not? Looks to be plently of room.

Bumper slam pannel and rad off bonnet off so don't risk damaging

Exactly this. Done a few times now and much easier this way.

Agree with above, first time i pullled an xud motor took me 3 hours and i took the front end off and pulled it out the front. Seemed easy enough to do it that way, you ony have to lift it off the top mount and swing it forwards then drop it out the gearbox mount (if you havent already removed that one) then pull it out the gap!
Doesnt even own a 306.
