My 1999 3 door 306 Dturbo in Dragoon blue ( KNP )
DHY block (has DHY in chassis number), Lucas pump, K14 turbo on non EGR manis, hasnt been tuned
Clock shows 112352
Has MOT till April 6th 2015, no tax as is SORN

Located in the Birmingham B37 area

The car has only let me down once when the turbo blew on the M42, dont believe there is any damage to the engine as it only ran away for a few moments while travelling at 70 mph before stopping on the hard shoulder leaving it in 5th gear which stalled the engine, replaced the blown T2 with a K14 and it runs as good as it ever did, better even as i find the K14 spools faster and made the drive much more fun. The turbo blew at around 110050 odd miles, the next day took me to and from Dorchester without a problem

Has been serviced every 5000 miles in my owner ship

Bought the car with around 91k on the clock, was told when i bought it that the headgasket, belt, waterpump etc had been done about 10k ago, though i have no proof i do not believe the guy was fibbing as the head was spotless

If you search "crap in oil" in the XUD section, the engine does this, im told its the head gasket going, but im also told its condensation. It got worse when i removed the turbo intake pipes after the first turbo blew, but at that time found the rubber that connects the intake pipe to the turbo had split almost completely in two pieces, so i believe it is condensation as there wouldnt have been sufficient air flow in the oil filler neck to keep heat soak from building

It does drink/leak water, cant find where from and needs topping up every 150 miles or so
Leaks oil from the pulley crank seals, not massively but enough to piss my dad off

The remote central locking works, but something is wrong with the key fob as it will drain new batteries in about 2 days, can lock/unlock the doors from the door locks

Rear lights are half tinted (indicator part) but i can supply some standard replacements

GOODIES:
S16 half leathers, very little wear but drivers frame has had welding
Full exhaust, de-cat, hoffmann midpipe, universal backbox, box has a split at the back from being low but it doesnt blow
Team Heko wind deflectors
Tinted windows (rear not done) drivers needs redoing as has been scratched and has a hole in the tint (am supplying a replacement untinted drivers side window)
Blue carpet, not mint and doesnt fit perfectly but its in there
GTI boot trim
Nissens radiator

BADS:
Swallows. All tyres are above the legal limit, drivers one ideally needs replacing as its got quite a bit of cracking. Also the centre caps have lost their paint
Dings/little dents down both sides
Quite a few stone chips to the bonnet
Front bumper has 2 large scuffs and 1 row of scratches
Rear bumper has scratches at the bottom
Boot has a dot of paint loss that has rusted, boot badge is pealing is lacquer, also has a dent and scratch to the panel underneath the boot lid
Rear beam has camber, but you can still get your hand between the wheels and body of the car. Beam shows signs of rusting on the tube, paint has flaked off but the arms move freely
Painted the wing mirrors caps to match the car, but they have reacted and the drivers side has creased and the passenger side has cracked
Passenger side doorcard has some fraying on the fabric from when the car was broken into
2 small chips on the windshield
Aircon doesnt work
Gearknob gaiter needs replacing, and gear knob feels loose (can be twisted)
Drivers side chassis rail needs rubbing down and under sealing, hasnt gone soft
Strut tops need replacing ideally, have rust on them, though theyre still fine they do look worse for wear


The clocks ideally need replacing, had put blue LEDs in and removed the yellow dye on the back, but the clear plastic front has a crack in it and the blue plug socket has broken during a removal, it still holds the plug but so you know. Also the bulb behind the battery symbol doesnt light up anymore, have tried changing the bulbs but i think the circuit track has been damaged, a few light bulbs dont light up any more either, also the right indicator arrow doesnt light up some times
Have also put white needles and phase 3 silver surround on

Have just put new handbrake cables, P bushes and rear drum cylinders on, have receipts

Has been sat a while so disk have rusted a bit. Drum brakes will need more adjusting.
Callipers are CRYING for a lick of paint!

Can not be driven away yet as need to finish bleeding brakes

Tom with all due respect you're wrong, just admit that you're shit at breaking cars lol 500 in breaking that imo, £100 for the seats to right person for a start . . i made £370 from my base spec DT without scrapping the shell . .

The main issue with breaking this would be the fact the colour isnt very common i find, so the panels are either worth a fortune or nothing
Yeah the seats could go for 100, 100 for the full exhaust, complete engine with box might fetch over 100, could keep the nissens rad and maybe the exhaust mani for my sedan and other odds n sods might go for a bit, id just much rather not. But if interest is there then thats the way it would end up going Sad

You could get a grand from a ph3 Meridian 18 months ago. A year ago it was around £500 from a HDi DTurbo hatch. In the last few months things haven't been selling well at all though...
