timing belts..
#1
Doing the head, so might be a good idea to do the belt too (it is a good idea i know)

have 2 choices..

kit from pug, or kit from local motorfactors

any issue with using a good quality OEM one? or should i roll some Darwins up and spend for a pug one?

also, are there any differences in tooth count between the XUD variants? mine is an XUD9SD (turbo, cat, no IC) from a citroen.. best to check before as pug thinks its a (if i remember correctly) 136 tooth
Given the choice between Niall and the sheep. I would choose the sheep!

Depends on the motor factor one if its a Gates or Continential it will be fine, if its a linglongshongchong i would be sceptical.
Doesnt even own a 306.

~I always use a motorfactors kit, usually a continental belt plus gates pulleys/tensioners

Belts are the same across the range, even fit the XUD7 I believe

Gates, Continental, Dayco are all the very best.
