I have a 306 xsi 2.0l 16v and am wondering if I can put the gti 6 fast road cam kit in that engine been reading a lot of stuff about that you can and can't and just want an honest answer on what I can put in this engine.
I have a gti 6 inlet manifold and exhaust manifold on the engine and a straight through centre section wanting to do more to my car any ideas thank you

If i were you i'd buy a '6 lump and take a few months to rebuild it with port and polished bits and 3 angle valve seats etcetc then drop that in. 306's are so easy to change engines on and you could probably pick one up dirt cheap as a tapper or rings gone or cambelt snapped or whatever.
Doesnt even own a 306.

I will be breaking a good running gti6 in a couple weeks. Has a good strong engine on 113k miles. Engine can be heard running and will come complete with everything. Engine, loom, box, shafts, ecu. Open to offers but want everything to go as a package really so I dont have little bits and bobs lying around. Already have too many haha. As for cams ect... PT81s or the Catcam 3017s what I am running is your limit on standard pistons otherwise cut outs what arent to best choice to be honest or forged pistons is the only other option really
