I changed my 2 p bushes with the better partner ones and new drop links much better now.
But the drive shaft come out of the passenger side while doing it. There was a bit of oil come out and was still wet for nearly 2 weeks. So I have cleaned it up to see if it still leaks out.
I know how to take the parts of but can it be done with just the ball joint off or need the hub nut to?
Which drive shaft gear box oil seal right for the passenger side and a good makes to go for?
306 hdi thanks.

2 choices - Either remove the hub nut and bottom ball joint and swing the hub round on the TRE.
Or - remove the BJ and TRE but leave the hub nut connected and pull the shaft/hub away from the 'box.
I'd go for number 1 but I have an impact gun for the hub nut which makes things easier!

Only need to drop the bottom ball joint out to get the drive shaft out.
As for seal to go for genuine would be the best but there are fair expensive really like £10 ish. Just get 1 from any motor factors. Should be about £4 ish

Peugeot want £27 for pair, so i'd advise seeing what your local factors can do for you lol.

Yeah, they cost £17 from euros at even-less-than-trade price, so i'm inclined to call bs on £4 each lol.
