Is it better to get an induction kit or a cone filter?

A little, but only right at the top end of the revs.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.

Fair enough Smile I'm looking at it mostly for the sound and to help the engine breath a little better

it's not .. .Smile i've no doubt it could be made to fit but i realise you're a bit new to all this, might be easier to get a proper kit . .

i'll get a pic later and try and explain . .Smile

Does anyone have an induction kit for a 1.4? Or know how I can adapt Matts kit for it to fit?

Personally if I was you, I'd buy a universal eBay one that should do you tbh.

I personally think you could spend money in better places, but we all love the noise of good induction!

What could I do? I'm sorry it's the first car I've owned so don't know what I can upgrade/improve

It's a 1.4 so I'd concentrate just getting a set of cyclones and just paint your trims. Maybe lower it and a subtle exhaust.
