as some of you know that my car has been off the road for a month now, after my hdi decided to give up on me on a list of different bits and bobs
i have a 405dt as a donner and two old f*cked 306dt
some pictures of the donners

right i been picking away at my car a few evening a week lack of pictures because the lighting is shit.
i will be running the XUD with the HDI box, Bosch pump , td04, and fmic might even give her some fresh oil

any pictures of the engine in yet then?
How did you get on with the gearbox mount in the end?

Are you sure you want to fit a longer gearbox to a car with a longer to spool turbo? Stick with DT box IMO mate

was going to use the dt box but had a few snags with clutch cable fitting and also the mounting is different so just thought putting the hdi box in would save a lot of problems

i will get some pictures on the weekend as i up in wales working atm.
i had it in and out that many times now just getting pissed off lol gear box mounting all good know as im going to use the hdi box did clutch at the same time

there's obviously something i don't understand, you're dropping an XUD9TE in a HDI shell yes? . . . . .then how can there be a problem with using the proper box for it? . . .

You got this issue Rhys?
I had to put this on my box - 306 is sat up into the mount whereas the 206 is sat back and lower

yeah that was the problem i was having but on the dt box, but the out side hole was broken so no where to screw the mount in

dont no if you can see it really in this picture but the out side mount hole is broken
just thought i would tie up my cooler to see what i will need to cut out to fit it

Thought I would just do update. the car off the road again after it being on the road for a few days before the head gasket failed so I am now going to start doing an engine build in my spare time.
