Well after hating the hdi and hating everything about the look and style of the later 306 Im doing a nut and bolt rebuild of the xud shell in my garage!
Not much has sold off it! plus its a sad way for any car to end its life. So the plan. Fix the problems on the hdi then use it as a work horse! The xud will take around 6 to 8 month to do I reckon. mainly in my spare time. Id rather spend my left over lolly on the xud then waste it on the hdi.

Car will be striped bare then the body work will begin , firstly i will sand and mark out the dents and imperfections in the body work then use the trusty old filler. The car will be left rolling to take to the spray place i use by oldbury. The D8a engine will be rebuilt the hdi and decomp pistons will to staying.
What i want the car to look like is a remake of my first ph1 dt.

All she needed to finish her off was a respray!
Will be going for the same fmic as before a twin pass.

Im looking on around the 500 mark from start to finish. the car cost £200 so a over all out lay of £700 which in any team not a waste of money.
