205-40-17s would be the best altough I used to run 215-40-17s for a little more sidewall and they were fine on an et18 wheel with a 40mm drop

You'll find 205/40s cheaper than 215/40

205/40 is the correct size, that's what I'm running with my 17s. Gives the same rolling radius
