Garret gt2252 and gt2256v
#1
I feel bad google translation.
I got these two free turbos.
A garret gt2252, which I think is too big for my 2.1TD?

And this gt22v mercedes 2.7 cdi, I think it is a GT2256V, with everything necessary to facilitate montage, exhaust manifold (tap the flange), hoses, intercooler, map sensor (for arduino controller), and the first sections of output turbo exhaust.

At home I have an arduino with things to mount a vnt controller, but would need some help. . .
Also, the turbo will have to go behind the engine, here no longer move it.
And space for these turbos will be very fair?
They give you another engine 2.1TD for experiments, only I have to pay for transportation. . .
I currently have very little money and very little time. . . and it is my everyday car.
I advise?

I thought it would be abit laggy? I've been looking at these for a while but was looking at a graph with all the gt series turbos on and the 22 was the laggest of the lot Undecided

P.s if you wanna sell the non vnt one pm me Wink

Lol laggy? A GT22 is still a fairly sizeable turbo, unless you go VNT i doubt you will be able to find something of similar size that is less laggy....
Remember this turbo is rated up to about 260bhp.

Would think it be epic with the 2.1...

Not sure it would spool AS quick with the 1.9 but still be amazing... GT22*52* remember this is not a GT2259

I might be wrong here but if your spooling them with the same pump are they not gonna spool at same time or does it not work like that.

2.1 has more air going in and more coming out so i guess it would spool it quicker!
Doesnt even own a 306.

Chris think about how a turbo actually works, a larger engine is going to create more exhaust gases.

Use the 2256v, on a bosot can set fairly lately, will work spot on, and you wont go back Smile

A 2252 with the same hotside AR will probably spool at the same time as a 2259 with the same hotside AR...

It's just usually that they'll have different ARs and usually be of different generations.
