Hi guys just thought id introduce myself, ive just bought a 306 hdi after owning a 1.6 306 meridian for about 8months ( thats still for sale if anyones interested ) , im in the derbyshire area and have relied on this forum for a few things, so now im staying with the 306 for a while I thought id register

car has 65500 miles on the clock and is totally standard " for the the time being"

Hey welcome to the forum. Nice hdi you got there. I think 65k is lowest I've seen. :-) where in Derbyshire you from?

Gosh you get even closer! You most likely seen it in langley mill as my sister lives just behind inn the middle. I work at iceland in eastwood so cars always parked there.
Stick around get your post count up so you can open everything. Good lot of people here. Been to few meets and camping we have a good laugh. Theres quite a few locals. If you need anything just pm me :-)

Yeah I was a little dubious as I didnt think they did them in 5 doors but I was obviously wrong, nearly didnt go and look at it but loved it when I did, its in superb condition inside and out, unfortunately it wont stay a low miles car as I do around 30k a year for work , I love the cyclones they look great for a standard alloy, first thing mine needs I think is a remap, it just feels like it wants to go but cant if that makes sense :/

Yeah I had mine remap by mr whippy makes a huge difference! Mine pulled 127bhp 208ftlbs torque.

Yeah I wanted whippy to do minw but ive heard hes not around all that often anymore so was looking at pro steve, stage 1 is about as far as ill go I think

Ahh you are tempting me now, 75 quid as opposed to 120 and having to drive to bristol sounds very tempting, do you know how to do it? Terrified of bricking my ecu lol

I was bricking my self but I followed the guide of pro steves website, it took 5 minutes was so easy!
I tried using my new laptop with windows 8 but wasnt working. So I tried my old one running windows 7 pretty slow laptop needed rebooting desperately. But it did it without any problems.
When I did my old hdi I went to whippy in leeds, the mans a genius at this stuff. Charged me £150. Got my second hdi turned out it had the same ecu so I uploaded my old map saved me money :-)

Haha happy days, windows 8 is a bit of a funny animal anyway, bit of a bonus not having to pay for another map oh kentiiboii, shadyc-hdi is the other guy with the 306 I mentioned , ill get back to you on the galetto though only a week till payday and its very tempting
