Mine is running on cyclones now for winter :-) RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - Titch161086 - 18-11-2013 Welcome along im new as well and I find this sight and the people very helpful RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - deggerz - 18-11-2013 Yeah I was a little dubious as I didnt think they did them in 5 doors but I was obviously wrong, nearly didnt go and look at it but loved it when I did, its in superb condition inside and out, unfortunately it wont stay a low miles car as I do around 30k a year for work, I love the cyclones they look great for a standard alloy, first thing mine needs I think is a remap, it just feels like it wants to go but cant if that makes sense :/ Re: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - kentiiboii - 18-11-2013 Yeah I had mine remap by mr whippy makes a huge difference! Mine pulled 127bhp 208ftlbs torque. RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - deggerz - 18-11-2013 Yeah I wanted whippy to do minw but ive heard hes not around all that often anymore so was looking at pro steve, stage 1 is about as far as ill go I think Re: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - kentiiboii - 18-11-2013 Well I have the galletto cable if you need it. Its easy enough to upload your self. RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - deggerz - 18-11-2013 Ahh you are tempting me now, 75 quid as opposed to 120 and having to drive to bristol sounds very tempting, do you know how to do it? Terrified of bricking my ecu lol RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - Lego Jon - 18-11-2013 Me too. Not sure im confident enough to not blow it up. I was bricking my self but I followed the guide of pro steves website, it took 5 minutes was so easy! I tried using my new laptop with windows 8 but wasnt working. So I tried my old one running windows 7 pretty slow laptop needed rebooting desperately. But it did it without any problems. When I did my old hdi I went to whippy in leeds, the mans a genius at this stuff. Charged me £150. Got my second hdi turned out it had the same ecu so I uploaded my old map saved me money :-) RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - deggerz - 18-11-2013 Haha happy days, windows 8 is a bit of a funny animal anyway, bit of a bonus not having to pay for another map oh kentiiboii, shadyc-hdi is the other guy with the 306 I mentioned , ill get back to you on the galetto though only a week till payday and its very tempting RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - Lego Jon - 18-11-2013 Thats fair enough but im an idiot. I'd brick it. As long as you're using a decent laptop thats fully charged and plugged into the mains. Itll be easy! I really was suprised at how easy it was. :-) Re: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - deggerz - 18-11-2013 well I work as an IT tech so i should be able to work it out Re: RE: 306 HDI Dturbo, new to the forums - kentiiboii - 18-11-2013 (18-11-2013, 11:47 AM)deggerz Wrote: well I work as an IT tech so i should be able to work it out Tbh you dont even need to be a it tech to work it out... where you at?
