Boost will have nothing directly to do with the stop light, you can run 60 psi and still no lights.
Sounds to me like as piggy said, you are wither having electrical problems or your new found power has had an adverse effect on engine temps. Check you are not overheating the car on a blast as it WILL kill these engines if they get hot for too long!
