Xud and Hdi Sumps

Hdi is ally and XUD is steel. Steel is better because it doesn't crack when a peanut hits it.

The sumps are all the same fitment wise, you can fit a hdi sump to an xud and an xud sump to a hdi.

Like facial hair said, one is steel and the other Ali

If you try and fit an Ali sump to an xud without aircon and power steering at the bottom then you will have to cut the aircon mounts off the Ali sump for them to fit

And obviously if you have air con you won't be able to fit a steel sump as the brackets aren't there

Thanks everyone, someone wants to put an xud sump onto a hdi engine. Don't know if it has aircon or not but will find out, if it does is the bracket an important one?

the aircon pump uses the bracket as supports
if you remove this you will have to change the aux belt length and reroute it
