Peugeot 306 HDi from Portugal
#1
Hi there,

This is the project blog for my recent blow engine, 236bhp, 306 Hdi. =P

The mod list is the following..

- Garrett 2056VK turbo;
- BMW 330d Injector nozzles;
- Tuned Fuel Injection Pump;
- FMIC;
- Oil and Fuel radiators;
- Custom exhaust;
- Custom intake;
- Custom clutch
- ...

And I think that it... And lots off labor hours to make it work properly!

Some pics!

The result.

Not many pics as my 306 insists on spending more time with my mechanic than with me... Hard life for a non TDi owner.. =P

Hope you like it!

Cheers

Thanks Scott! The one on the engine, or the one in the fuel tank?

Tks Kimmer,

Thats one of the things that I don't know for shure, due to my limited knowledge in turbocharged diesel engines.

As far as I know, is controled by the pressure on the intake scroll. It has a pipe from the scroll until the actuator. Don't know if it helps much... =\

Here's a video the first time it came out after the turbo instalation.. BHP around 180 I guess..

You can control the VNT by pressure (Mechanically) or vacuum (ECU).

By pressure you have to apply a pressure wastegate and then tweak the valve for the pressure you want it to make !

In my case that i've installed a GTB1756VK i'll use the wastegate from the GT15.

By vacuum it's more complicated, but here's the link to explain !
