Phase 1 306 GTi-6
#1
Please, if you aren't interested in buying the car - refrain from filling the thread. Thanks.

For sale is my Phase 1 GTi. This car has been nothing but a pleasure for me to own, but in all honesty I genuinely have lost the love and just want something a bit newer - I'm getting old and boring.

So, the list of stuff:

Good points:
Very well looked after car - for a 17 year old car the paintwork is absolutely amazing
Engine pulls fantastically well, drives very nicely
Pretty extensive service history
Its a phase 1 gti... need I say more

Bad points:
The bonnet has some pretty bad stone chips on the front which look like someone's tried to touch them up.. kinda failed at it. Not overly noticable but if you know it's there, it's annoying.
Crack in the front bumper just below where the tow strap sits
The passenger door is mildly bent where someone attempted to break in - again it really doesn't show that badly, but I know it's there.
The low speed fans don't come on - but the high fans do, only a real issue in chronic traffic in summer.

Interior/exterior:
Mint GTi Alcantara seats
Sony XPlods 6x9
New headunit
GE quick shift
GTi steels in white
Wind deflectors
TRS tow strap
Hours and hours spent claying, polishing and waxing

Engine:
Oil catch tank
Carbon enclosed induction kit with cold air feed
New clutch and gearbox (unsure of milage) 5kish ago
Grp N gear linkages
BakerBM lower engine mount
Full service at 156,549 miles with genuine Peugeot products
Decat, will also supply the cat with the sale, went through the last MOT no issues
Mongoose cat back 3" inwards rolled tip

Suspension/brakes:
1k old Uniroyal Rainsport 2's
TA Technix coilovers
bilstein b4 rear shocks
New wishbones 5kish ago
New drop links at 157k miles
New TREs at 157k miles
Lowered torsion bar
OMP lower strut brace
Mintex 1144 pads and mintex discs all round

Car has MOT until July 2014
Tax until November 2013 but will re-tax
Car currently sits on 158,501 miles
Cambelt done at 148k near on, will double check but it's close to that!

And as always, some pictures:

Any more pictures wanted can be found in my project thread.

Asking price is £1100, I'm happy to wait for the price and for the car think it's fully worth it.

Refrain from posting my ass.
I can genuinely vouch for this. A real fine example, fairly immaculate and worth that price all day

The back was raised since then Matt, was supposed to be 60 but was more like 70. Front was wound down to match when I had it.
