I have been thinking about the idea of fitting some gas struts for the bonnet on my ph1 as I have got the strut on the ph3 I got for breaking.
Has anyone done this before? Is it easy?

you'd have to weld the fittings to the top of the wings and drill and tap the side of the bonnet, not really worth it IMHO

Im doing this on my ph1 the weekend, but im going ph3 so I already have the bonnet with the mounts on. Before I desided to change the phase of my car I was going to do it to the ph1 front.
