I joined there when I got my p1 a couple of weeks ago wasnt overly impressed with the activity on there.. which then brought me here 100x better from my short time on here seems a bit hostile over there or maybe its just me lol

They aren't hostile at all. All very friendly (but then you will get hostile people everywhere. Theres a few here) but unfortunately it's just not hugely active.

TBH the things that sell this place for me is that everyone has chosen to come here knowing that there is other 306 clubs available and the fact that aside form 306 clubs we get posts from people on VAG clubs because they cant get an answer there but somehow we can work out whats wrong with their car (other than it not being a 306).

If you want to see how active a forum is you want to look at the posts per day and how many people turn up to shows. Weve been one of the largest clubs at every show ive been to this year (PPC, Pugfest and FCS)

didnt like this forum at first, was rude and arrogant....then I realised its all sarcasm and banter and I now really like it.

I still think people hate me...but it doesnt matter here!

Dude people dont hate you and even if they do, so what? We are a loveable bunch really! Seriously, if you come to a meet, I promise you will absolutely love it. People are normally exhausted due to chronic amounts of banter and laughter.

Heh, you've got to be kidding me. People like you because you are quite obtuse, like they are! You fit in with ginge, 4way, Liam and the other ones quite well. People like you because you are very traditional in your manner. Even nutcases (like me) get quite an easy ride on here. I have been perma banned from many other forums, including the likes of PH and Finalgear.com.

Dude nobody here hates you, you do occasionally come across badly but your a top bloke and TBH having an awesome car tends to make people ignore any issues with your people skills.

Yeah, this, last few meets I've been to I've had a sore jaw for days after from grinning/laughing solidly all weekend

Yeah everyone has that worry first time they go to a meet though but we are a really inclusive club. There's only 3 people who aren't welcome at our meets and 2 of them aren't even registered users.
