hi has anyone got any ideas to why this p bush looks like its being pulled of the lower arm, this is the o/s. thanks

yes mate top bolt/nut is there, but compared to the other side it dont look right.. maybe its just me being paranoid

That definitely looks as if its being pulled off. Take the arm off and give it a good inspection. If that IRS whilst you are driving it could be horrific!

No chance the subframe is out of shape? If they're new wishbones i'd assume there's a manufacturing fault tbh.

i can't see any damage to the sub frame, here is a better view of the lower arm.
i gonna take it back to the shop where i got it from & get it replaced..

That's definitely coming off. No two ways about it.

When you put the new one on measure te distance from the wheel-arch on both sides to give a better idea of if the subframe is straight Smile

Well got a replacement lower arm Smile it turns out the old one was smaller arm some kind of manifacturing fault :/ All sorted now though. Thanks for the quick replys

It shouldn't be the case though. If people are selling parts such as this they should be fit for purpose. What has happened there is a serious safety risk.

I'd be inclined to escalate it.

Easiest way to avoid this is to always compare old parts to new before fitting.
