The beams have quite big tolerances when fitting, by the book you should have them aligned, a bit like the front setup.

take the boot carpet up and you will see some rubber bungs. Underneath them is 6 nuts. Loosen them off and just push the beam over a bit then as far forwards as possible to ensure its not wonky. Oh and obviously do this with the rear off the floor lol.

Nah its fine! All you might find is if its been tracked before using one of them 2 wheel laser trackers, your tracking might go out as if the beam is sitting slightly wonky, if you straighten it up, they would of tracked it to when it was wonky.

They ARE lasers, and as I explained to John in the chatbox the other day, they are a 15" rim (hence 15" tyres). The face however will be an inch bigger.

It's perfetly normal for one side to sit slightly different, ALL 306s are infact like this, it's due to the rear beam layout, it causes it to sit slightly over...
I don't think I've seen a 306 that isn't like this.

But you live on the island Matt. You can't read. You all communicate in dances and clicking noises followed by grunts and screams. You still sacrafice bulls to the gods, burning them at the altar to produce a pleasing odour for the heavens. Every sunday the island elders get together to discuss affairs and arrange arranged marriages (they wouldnt be arranged otherwise). Witch hunts occur every Tuesday at noon, and the screams of 'Burn Her!" can be heard for Gunwharf when the wind blows the right way. The shortage of rain is blamed on the woman down the road with all the cats, and everyone is afraid of Nymphs and Sprites in the woods.
Thats what happens on the island right? I watched it on a David Attenborough show once IIRC.
