Alright folks, just a quick one, I'm running a KKK K14 turbo. The turbo is running without the boost increase screw (as it was threaded and fell out) but I was wondering if I fitted an MBC to it, would it work? I'm not sure how the wastegate works, so could do with some help! Cheers!

Yep should be able too. The way they work (in my head) is they take over the waste gate control, so when you adjust the mbc, it's like adjusting the turbo underneath

Right, the boost controller is fitted on the metal pipe that runs from the compressor side of the turbo to the wastegate actuator.
After a lot of faffing about trying to recut the threads on the wastegate (which failed as the tap snapped and is now wedged in the actuator)...
However got the boost controller fitted and it works fine, now running 18 PSi and the car goes like a stabbed rat!
This is however, just to confirm to anyone who has a similar experience to me with the wastegate screw falling out, an MBC still will work!
Cheers for the help folks!
