I quite like KAs if they aren't rusty, the 2.0 Zetec converted ones are epic and actually they are quite a laugh to drive.

Anyway OP you fail, the turbo is that shiny thing bolted under the stock looking exhaust manifold with an air filter running into it.

Goes to show just how strong what is effectively a 1960s crossflow engine is if its handling 20psi of boost.

lmao I killed one within 5 miles of setting off in it.

define, faster... Popcorn

because the 350z PWR = 184bhp/ton with a stripped 306 at 175bhp/ton or so. With the right driver, you're getting to 60 quicker..

to be honest, the pushrods would probably go first....and they easy and cheap to replace.

Ka's are a hoot to drive IMO, used to give my sisters' tired little 1.3 a hard time. Uncomfortable as f*ck but they are a good, predictable steer.

I'd like to have a hoon in a StreetKa but only if I could wear a paper bag on my head for the duration...
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

I dunno, my mum in law has a Luxury edition with full leather seats and what appears to be a complete lack of side bolsters. Perfect anti-hooning device lol

Yet the ginger does make a point Niall.

Cos let's face it, your *average* 350z driver is not gonna be able to get the power down off the line, and will probably be slow on gearchanges and ra*e the limiter.

So yeah, 180BHP in your 306 and you'd stand a chance with good tyres.

Noone said anything about driver skill? You also seem to imply you'd definitely be a better driver than the 350Z driver.

Not really. First bit of straight-away and the Datsun would be gone.

It's not just the power / weight, the V6 is an un-stressed, high-torque pulling machine which simply sticks two fingers up at a hot hatch.

Plus, the Z is a pretty attractive sports car, whereas the GTi6 is an ageing hot-hatch of the yesteryear. You've lost before anyone has even turned a key.
