Update:
So as I mentioned to a couple of people at the xmas meet i had this rolled a little while ago to test out the mapping. Sadly the operator got the rpm scale wrong so the results are a bit fudged hence my reservations of putting it up but hey ho i'll do it anyway
Red is oem map, blue is my prototype if you will. Can see a few hp gain low down with about 7-10 after vvc kicks in yo
Some notes:
This is at the wheels power
Clutch power can be ignored since they attempted it was wrong
Car is running leaner than ideal
Car does not rev to 8k rpm
Still a nice gain none the less
Future plan is to keep working on it but now I've got my eyes set on having the head ported out since seeing some comparison graphs which should a very nice increase when rovers poor casting is sorted out. Also need to richen up for a possible extra couple of ponies
Also another note, this was with stock exhaist manifold. Now I have a aftermarket there should be an even better gain
