#1

Wanting to increase the fuel and thanks to this forum and some very helpful guys on here I know how. However my Bosch pump has amour on it and needs removed so I can get to the max fuel screw.

No it's a Fiat ducato 1.9td. Think it stops thieves getting to the stop solinoid. Either way it's stopping me from going faster....Angry

Some of these pumps have the bolt heads filled in, a right bastard to get off if that's the case.... Lots of stainless steel cutting discs required! You may aswell change the distributor head when going that far :p

That's a pump off job if they're filled! Sad

I de-armoured a Bosch pump from a 406 and it wasn't too bad but I couldn't have done it on the car. I hammered the security bolts loose with punches and a hammer. The last one was surrounded by armour though so I had to break out the angle grinder to get access to it.
