Hi so we are on holiday at the moment an we are going home tomorrow and our lil peugeot has decided it didn't like its cam belt.......
so we are in filey with a car that don't work. We can get home but we cant get the car home. So im wondering if there any one near that will buy it for £50.
its a 1.8 auto (used to be a 1.8 auto) 5door in red. There a picture in one of my posts. I cant upload pics atm.
need it going asap. The bodywork ain't to bad its a 1996 ph1
really need it going asap. Will send you the log book as soon as we get home.
please can some one help as i cant get it home because we don't have a solid tow bar or trailer or anything.
basically we are fooked if no one wants it.

you can tow an auto with the front wheels off the floor. just can't push or pull them

Yeah not supposed to tow an auto but i don't care. Dragged it about 3 miles from Scarborough back to our camp site and by that time she woz makeing some strange noises.
got home finaly at half 4 this morning. Got recoverd on "my" aa platinum account
so need to decide what's happening with it now.
probaly gunna part it out so if anyone wants some ph1 bits let me know
when in doubt...... flat out.

Does it still function? I'm guessing the box is fooked if you dragged it 3 miles?

The box should be fine. Iv towed autos alot further with no major problems.
its gunna need a new engine really. Not worth trying to fix the engine. Blew up at 60mph
when in doubt...... flat out.
