Decided to move on from the saxo and 306 even tho i still have them, went for a newish car that has a good spec and was reasonably priced. Always liked the astras since back in 2004 when the came out and always had a soft spot for the vxr so it was going to be one of them but insurance was a nono so had to go for the next best thing.
In love with the car tbh, such a nice drive abit firm in sport mode but still very comfy.
Will get more when i get time.

That picture is anything but cool!!!
If it had being a decent spec lotus then yes have a picture taken!!
When we hand over a car at work we get the customer a nice bunch of flowers . An AMG item or decent bottle of wine!!!
We would never dream of asking for a picture like that!!!
Then again we are a bit more prestige

Vauxhalls are shit
/thread.
Seriously misleading picture too! Thought it was going to be an Elise, not an Ashtray.
Nice enough cars, uncomfortable seats and back-breaking suspension with massive amounts of road noise in the cabin and awful rear visibility. The old man had a 150 when they first came out and it was cool back then, I loved driving it. Worlds shortest, steepest powerband, all comes at once which makes it feel quick but the engine really doesn't like to be revved out, making it a bit pants on B-road blasts in my experience. Good motorway muncher, shame about the compromised ride.
Wish I had a car worth that much though!
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

I've always had a soft spot for astras.
Not so much the newer ones but more like the old SRI and GSI Turbos (around 2001 plate) and not forgetting the 888. Loved that thing.
Ohh the things you shouldn't admit.

They are epic cars.
Same engine as in my vec.
Blank the EGR, get it mapped & you'll love it ten times more.
Mines running ~200bhp & it's awesome

Albeit in a slightly older Vectra so maybe yours will be more reliable.....
They are know for blowing the gearbox for a start, my friend found that one out the hard way.
Poor design/build by all accounts.
