Question
As per title are these worth getting and which one, the diesel or petrol version? I didnt even know there was a diesel version until i was looking for these on ebay which is why i ask. Also in the guide for replacing them it doesnt specify.

Thanks

Ian

Yeah get a diesel one mate, they are softer than the petrol ones so they dont throw all the vibrations into the cabin.
Think they are about 29quid on fleabay, ive got one waiting to go on.

I guessed the diesel one would be softer to stop the vibration but theres a few people running the petrol one on the xud which is a rougher engine generally.

Is the diesel mount still stiffer than standard?

Yeah it will be stiffer than standard!
You would probably see better gains from the petrol one but it depends if you could deal with your dashboard rattling itself to pieces everywhere you went

Theres a good chance your original one wants changing anyway so you'll notice a difference straight away.

Yeah so is mine tbh!
If youve got the cash try a petrol one and see how you get on with it.

Ive just put one on my 6 last weekend and worth getting just because there so easy to fit! Not noticed any difference in cabin vibration over the stanndard mount.
