What do we think about this?

What do we think? Good enough for T25, TD04, GT20's etc?

Yarp. IMO anything that gets through it will be chewed by the turbo anyway.

What size is the neck to go on the intake pipe

3" / 76mm.
De-filter isn't for the long run!

Should be fine.. Mines 101mm bit overkill for the maf and GT15 id think

Look on manufacturers websites, places like RamAir you can spec your own throat sizes etc.

I use a ramair universal foam filter, with 70mm neck. I have 70mm pipe all the way to the turbo which I then have a reducer down to 56mm.
