Air Filter Critique - silverzx - 08-04-2013 What do we think about this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLUE-LARGE-PERFORMANCE-CONE-INDUCTION-AIR-FILTER-3-76mm-PEUGEOT-RENAULT-SUBARU-/360565157235?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53f35bad73 Obviously its fairly big which is good but its a budget / non branded. What do we think? Good enough for T25, TD04, GT20's etc? ![]() RE: Air Filter Critique - cwspellowe - 08-04-2013 Yarp. IMO anything that gets through it will be chewed by the turbo anyway. Defilter ftw, noone wants their turbos to last a while do they? RE: Air Filter Critique - Arron - 08-04-2013 What size is the neck to go on the intake pipe RE: Air Filter Critique - silverzx - 08-04-2013 3" / 76mm. De-filter isn't for the long run! RE: Air Filter Critique - Arron - 08-04-2013 Should be fine.. Mines 101mm bit overkill for the maf and GT15 id think RE: Air Filter Critique - silverzx - 08-04-2013 (08-04-2013, 05:42 PM)Arron Wrote: Should be fine.. RE: Air Filter Critique - cwspellowe - 08-04-2013 Look on manufacturers websites, places like RamAir you can spec your own throat sizes etc. RE: Air Filter Critique - Matt - 08-04-2013 will suck in small children but will be fine ![]() RE: Air Filter Critique - Ricky - 08-04-2013 I use a ramair universal foam filter, with 70mm neck. I have 70mm pipe all the way to the turbo which I then have a reducer down to 56mm. |
