283mm brake set up off a 206 gti 180 will it fit??

Basically going to get a 283mm brake set up off a 206 gti 180 tomorrow, i believe there the same set up as the gti6? am i right just bolt on?

Upgrading my d turbo

A friend of mine not on the forum has these on his dturbo

Just googled it says that they use a thicker disc 26mm i think not sure if that makes any difference to them fitting or not?

Theyre the same, disc maybe slightly thicker. Also the 406 283mm has a slightly thicker disc.
They do fit though

The 307 also has 283mm with the same disc as the gti6.
If your after some the same I have some calipers but theyre pink will need disc and pads

Im going to get some tomorrow mate just wanted to make sure they fit with the thicker disc and see if they caliper is the same/fit, if the sale falls though tho will pm u

Offset is different iv had a look into it as i was offered a set cheap but it didnt fit 307 HDI setup is the same and doesnt come with the gti price tag

just have a google for the gti discs and 206gti discs and compared the dimensions...then you'll know for sure

My cabriolet had a set of GTi180 brakes on, nothing out of the ordinary. The piston size might be smaller? Iirc, was so long ago I can't really remember! But they did fit straight on.

Edit: found the info Smile

206 GTi180 calipers require a thicker disc and have a 54mm piston, whereas 306GTi6 calipers have a 57mm piston Smile

According to jenks the offset is different also in this krisb for sale thread
