If its only a weekend, I woukdnt worry about it. You'll still have enough oil in there to prevent any damage

mine started to leak from the seals.
but it stopped once the gearbox was empty down to the seals
that was over a year ago with no problems lol

It should still have a good litre in there or so, assuming its only leaking from the driveshaft seals, ive ran gearboxes on worse lol

Yeah, BE3s are pretty much indestructible... I used to run mine on used engine oil, and it was half filled...
Still going today happily with no noises.
