If i try to lock the car by the door as you normally would.it doesnt lock.
it just unlocks itself straight away as if one of the doors has been left open, but i have checked all the doors several times and they are all shut and the car still wont lock!
i have a 1995 ph1 306
Comments please-as to what areas i should look into?
Thanks

Most likely a split in the door looms, they all go there over time and would be my first port of call.

Wiring loom in the drivers side door. The wires split and snap over time they will need stripping and re soldering or hard-wiring like I have done.

is this the part which goes between the door and the inside of the car?
How easy is it to replace the loom or will the particular wires just have to be re joined??
is it easy to disconnect the loom to work on it??
Thanks
