What do people reckon to having the rallye fog light blanks on their car? Who prefers them and who doesn't? My fog lights have steamed up and have been doing for about a year so they have gone slight mouldy inside, so they need replacing, but I can't decide whether to replace them with new lamps or put some rallye blanks in... Opinions please!

It's about £30 on eBay for a set of fog lights, but I'm not sure whether I prefer the fog lights or the blanks

I like my blanks, and many people who know nothing about the rallye model says it looks better without fogs...

i just think that fogs are for more functional and with the fogs on high mod i can flash people properly. If i was having a race spec 306 then id definitely have blanks.

Fogs for me, but in answer to the OP, can't you just open them up and clean them? they're just spring clips holding the lenses on and a rubber seal instead of glue.
Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.

if its that then i could clean one, but the mirror part on the back of the other side has gone like rusty sort of mould colour :? so unless it will just clean off then i could, but if its attacked the mirror stuff then i could get away with replacing one.. i didnt know they could come apart like that

Havent been to garage as yet mate, if the chrome has rusted off why not wrap with something i think i saw that matt had done in same vinyl as his centre console, maybe wrap in white carbon or something
