Dum-Dums 325 TDS Touring
#1
So Ive gone and bought another one. This one is better specced, slightly lower mileage and isnt leaking fuel. I paid a fair bit more but its worth it. Its got the M3 body kit and wheels and a 2.5" straight exhaust, no mid box, no cat, just a back box and the noise is sexual.

I picked it up on friday and drove it straight up to PPCITP, enjoyed it round the local roads and did a track session and its been practically faultless.

The rear wheels are rubbing the arches cos theyer on 20mm spacers so I need to get my arch roller to them, theres a warning light on the dash so i need to remove the bulb, the drivers door lock dosent lock on the key and a couple of tiny annoyances.

Its fitted with coilovers and desperately needs wound down but the owner didnt have a c spanner so i gotta buy one.

Anyway when I first saw her

And now shes home (check the mud and rubber on the back bumper)

niice!

don't need a c-spanner though, block of metal and a hammer if used carefully won't damage the locking rings...
Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.

:-D ...Really looking forward to seeing this project taking shape!

Yeah its tidy underneath, the exhaust is a bit of a bodge though. The mileage is erm, only slightly less than the other one.

Fair enough, expect a T28 shouldn't be too difficult to get your hands on, they do them on the s13/s14's IIRC although i'm not sure if it'll be right for your application

Yeah, T25 is S13, T28 is S14.

Both are water cooled IIRC..

All these "max boost" figures are obviously in regard to a petrol motor..

S13 Red-Top T25:
Compressor: T-25, 60 trim 56mm 0.60 A/R BCI-1 compressor.
Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.
Stock Boost: 7 psi
Safe Boost: > 13-15 psi After that The Turbo is past it's efficiency
Max Boost: 17 psi
HP Ratings: 240 - 250 RWHP
Type of Bearings: Journal Bearing

S13 Black-Top T25:
Compressor: T-25, 60 trim 56mm 0.60 A/R BCI-1 compressor.
Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.
Stock Boost: 7 psi
Safe Boost: > 13-15 psi After that The Turbo is past it's efficiency
Max Boost: 17 psi
HP Ratings: 240 - 250 RWHP
Type of Bearings: Journal Bearing

S14 Zenki (1993-96) Black-Top T28:
Compressor: T-28, 60 trim 60 mm 0.60 A/R BCI-1 compressor in T-04B housing
Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.
Stock Boost: 7 psi
Safe Boost: > 13-15 psi After that The Turbo is past it's efficiency
Max Boost: 17 psi
HP Ratings: 250 - 260 RWHP
Type of Bearings: Journal Bering

S14 Kouki (1996-98) Black-Top T28:
Compressor: T-28, 60 trim 60 mm 0.60 A/R BCI-1 compressor in T-04B housing

Actually forget what I said about a T28, the aftermarket manifold is a T3 flange so itll be a T3.

Really cant wait to be able to get on with this.

Oh and yes danny the pump is going to be lobb built when he gets a chance.

Trent I have some videos I just need to check and upload

Theyer easy to get hold of and a simple bolt on though.

I know theyer really old technology and nowhere near as good as modern turbos but its a start.

Could stick on a T3/T4 hybrid lol
