Evening all, quick question for you.
My friend asked me to diagnose a problem with her car, it judders and shakes under braking. Only really happens under light braking/low speeds, tracking and wheel balancing are fine, any ideas? I thought maybe a warped brake disk, other than that I could only think maybe a fcuked bush somewhere but how's best to check?
Cheers guys.

One of them favours eh? Lol
If its a bush, check for play around the wishbones, TRE as is could be steering rack if thupland play, or like you say could be a warped disc. Rotate it and see if It hits the pads at any point.
Just a pointer, my caliper is f*cked at the moment, and is loose to the points can wobble it with one finger. That causes juddering under breaking....
And yes I need to address that, I know...

Rears are drums anyway, so shan't be that. Is the play the usual grab the wheel at 12 and 6 and give it a shake?

It's most likely a warped disc tbh. Turn the wheel jacked up and you'll probably hear the disc scuffing the pad if its out of shape.

Could also try hard breaking when not holding the steering wheel, see if it moves or pulls to one side etc..
