Was just wondering where do I find the engine code on the block of a Xud so I can order pit on rings and big end bearings if any one knows any websites that are good to deal with or what brand of head gasket,big end bearings,etc that would be great

look at the vin number, two most common codes are DHY and D8A, also look for the RP number on the rear of the nearside strut top.

Don't have a vin to go by just got gave a complete engine that I'm rebuilded the fitting it to my straight d

in that case look at the stamped number near the oil filter, or look for an aluminium tag near the oil filler.
most of the parts are the same though.
