So with the continued weight saving im trying to do it seems an easy one to replace my battery with a lightweight one. Anyone running one, anything I should know. Any recommendations? No aircon, no stereo, no sunroof etc so not much power needed I guess.

I've got a Varley red top gel battery on my Manta. Keep it topped up with a Ring smart charger. It's been on 6 years while the car has stood and is holding its charge fine. Rally design do a cheaper version called an RMD battery.

Spend a few quid and fit a lithium unit, much better than the AGM shite.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.
