weightsaving/race batteries? - impotentials - 29-06-2017 So with the continued weight saving im trying to do it seems an easy one to replace my battery with a lightweight one. Anyone running one, anything I should know. Any recommendations? No aircon, no stereo, no sunroof etc so not much power needed I guess. thanks RE: weightsaving/race batteries? - 399road - 30-06-2017 I've got a Varley red top gel battery on my Manta. Keep it topped up with a Ring smart charger. It's been on 6 years while the car has stood and is holding its charge fine. Rally design do a cheaper version called an RMD battery. RE: weightsaving/race batteries? - Rippthrough - 30-06-2017 Spend a few quid and fit a lithium unit, much better than the AGM shite. |
