205 Turbo D. GT2052S. Bosch 9mm
New driveshafts are the bollox, car has never felt so good and planted.
Shocks are deffo too short though, need some GTI items.

Coming off the road shortly so I can man up and vnt it's ass. 

Been a good turbo but definitely time for something bigger and more modern. 

Try and get a video of it now before I rip it apart, got the gopro here.

Somebody enquired about the 309 and ended up buying this.
Not staying on this forum but will be on autoshite.

I never drive it, it just lives in the garage.
I have plans afoot for more xud powered craziness so not too fussed.

And it shit the turbo on the way to its new home. Gutted.
Feel for new owner but it's pure bad luck.
Happened to me with the transit the other day, no warning, just went.

In a strange turn of events,  this car is coming back to me,  with better brakes and suspension,  but no more gt2052. 
Still unsure of its future, I may bumrape it for its engine and chuck it in the 309,  I may keep it as is and fit a better blower.
Dunno, pleased it's coming back though, I have missed it.

Not much of an update but it has sat in a pub car park for a month and a half.
Was asked to move it today and it started with one turn on the glowplugs on 100% wvo.

Good old girl, will give it attention this weekend, needs brakes and boost leak sorted.
Maybe new turbo.

Awesome thread !

Day off today so I tidied the workshop up and started working out what to do about a relocation pipe for the GT2256v. 
I have some ideas now. 

A few poor quality pics of not a lot. Was too dark to get any decent pics of what is occurring but I realise there is a lack of pictures and too much rambling.

It's the scrap one I got from you.  Had odd cylinder and head corrosion,  remember? 
I have got a complete XUD lump with decent head on. Could be tempted to sell it I suppose.

So this project is actually ended.
My brother now owns the car.
A swap occurred and he owns this and I own a ZX estate that came with a fmic pipe kit and loads of rust.

I have vainly pulled it all to bits to sort out making it go faster before the issue of rust and mot is sorted.

I have two ZXs so should be fine getting this one on the road using parts from the other one.
Never done vnt or turbo relocation before so all a learning curve I'm happy to partake in.

The 205 is for sale. £100 spares or repair, no MOT . Needs brakes bleeding and turbo/boost leak sorting at least. Needs to go soon or It'll be weighed in.

Bosch pump, 1.6 pepperpots, bilstein dampers and gti springs. Xud9 engine. Many spares negotiable, turbos, full brand new fmic kit, vnt turbos, manifolds, all sorts.
