Hi, nice to have met you the other day. I've been quietly following this thread for a while and the car definitely lived up to expectations while stood and on track. Very, very nice bit ok kit :-)

Sandys telling them all about it ..see see
The car just feels so solid & sorted Mei ...I was nearly flat out in places I normally wouldn't be & it handles unreal & gives so much feed back to me .....so happy

PS ...it's only 90dbs at 4500 Rofl

Got the tailgate back Sprayed Great job & a (Free) Brand new rear glass window arriving Monday and being fitted without a trim as I'm planning on buying a Hardshell polycarbonate grey tint rear window within the next 6months & Same bonded rear quarters ....all in 6mm not Standard 4mm as they don't flex as much at speed & cornering ...gives more panel support also

Bent 1.2mm Stainless plate & Tig welded a Stainless nut to the inside ..
I'm bonding the plates onto the underside of the tailgate where the tailgate ram nipple screws in ...I can then use it to spread the weight out over the Twinskin Fibreglass

I had to call two favours in for the Bonnet & Tailgate ...so two different Paint shops ...both top notch & if I had to pay ...silly prices Rofl

Tailgate works well & Stainless bonded plate is speading the ram pressure out & not bending the Fibreglass ...I'm pleased

nice work, Garry's main concern with his Saxo Kitcar is that if he ever sticks it in a ditch that the tailgate would get damaged by all the speccies trying to push the car out on the tailgate!!

I'll be at Lemans not Pugfest I'm afraid.

do you use whattsap?

Vauxhall Corsa B Electric power steering going to be fitted in the next 2weeks  Rofl

Dum Dum my cars nearly finished m8 ...just Electric PAS to sort ....got to modify a few things for it to fit & the beauty of it is I've bought a conversion kit that allows you to ajust assistance 3 settings ...

I need PAS back on for road driving as its road legal ....I need a little PAS for Combe & a fair bit for Pugfest as my Arm we're hanging off the day after m8

YES Tom ...but I will have it on lowest assist for Combe & highest for road .....
My steering with 2.4 Phaze 1 rack & 205/50/16 tyres is crazy hard ...
After Pugfest & 18-19 runs my Arms the next day were aching so bad ....

I will set it to drive to venues & Back & set the pot switch to minimum for track work or possible off for Combe ? As its so fast

That is mind bendingly fast.

I was told you'd had a little off on the last corner though but if you are buying shiny steering bits it must have been someone else.
