Dw10 16v valve springs

I am trying to find some uprated valve springs for the 16v.

I am all but skint due to work/foot situation and getting racetractor sorted for fcs plus know they can be had cheaper than the one site I have found abroad for £140 plus postage.

A few companies have said "if they are same size as another engine we can help" ...well obviously I can measure them and i know what lbft they are but I can't find a catalogue of sorts to compare others to...


Anyone got any hints/ideas?

whats the o.d of the spring and retainer?

i know the earlier 8v has the same stem seals as a gti6 and an es9j4, so you may be able to stick the double springs in there.

have you increased the lifter oil pressure to compensate for stiffer springs?

Dont think the 8v and 16v springs are the same
