Mileage and speed rev dials FIXED
#1
Rainbow
Hello I noticed on my 306 hdi sometimes when starting the car near the mileage clock it will show like a alarm clock or timer thing. The rev and speed counter both move up from 0 to the same place near max higher up then go back down to normal?

Just seeing what this means?

Thanks

mine does that too sometimes. I take the view the battery is a bit low.
got myself a dash solar panel to compensate a little.
It goes, it stops (as reqd). Makeup

I've checked the battery while engine running and off the battery 13v+ when off when on 15v+ so the battery good.

I've cleaned the connections on the battery, 2 earth's below the battery also earth near driver front headlamp.

There anymore earths or connections to try and clean.

shouldn't have 15+ on the battery!!! you need a new rectifier on the back of the alternator
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.
