I pulled out of this space and the prat that replaced me obvs couldn't manage a a simple reverse park staying on the road, he had a ticket though so it cost him £130

Eh? You know there's a middle ground between blocking the pavement and parking a foot from the kerb, right..? Learn to park or don't buy an unecessarily large car tbh.

He genuinely couldn't park, this is a 50 metre long road that you can't get more than 15mph on as cars parked both sides.

Clearly haha. Looking at the pic again I reckon I can see what happened though. Focus wheels are at an angle, they can't have been 'pushed' like that by the Astra as the steering lock comes on long before that angle. So I reckon Focus driver left the wheels at a wanky angle, Astra wheel happened to meet Focus wheel because old people can't judge distance and that gave it the traction to get up there. Pretty impressive though.
