Sorry I couldn't be there
Was a fun day, but you didn't miss too much.
Top quality car geek talk with Ruan, Tom and Piggy though, with a good bit of day666 thrown in too. A surpsurprisingly late turn up from Sam and a friendly how do with our relative newcomer cho99er5000(spell?)
Track action was solid all round, and by that i mean risky and awesome fun!
I ended up on the grass again in the same place i did on spring day.

Did you have your gopro on ??
i did. 4.15... queued for sound testing at 3.30 and finally got tested at 4.30 and then was on track at 5.15... it was a bloody shambles. staff ahd no idea what they were doing. There was a red flag every five minutes and things got backed up by an hour.
Did my 15 minutes for £40. Car didnt go wrong which was impressive. Made the journey without leaking any water or losing any brakes. Really happy with it. Exhaust started blowing on the centre joint so ill try and get that fixed before the expo. Whole thing was recorded on piggys SJ4000 camera and he isnt online for a few days but it will be up eventually. Im hoping someone got some photos of me.
Its a mission to remember the numbers and write under the images. So the above are all i took. People in the pictures are Piggy and my mate Oli who did the whole day and came out in the car on crutches. We spent most of the day sat at quarry in camping chairs with the camera and go pro in hand. In one of the photos you can see my super new gimbal for the go pro with carbon extension. It gets close enough to the action and its super smooth so should be some good videos to come in the future.
Hightlights are always the drifting. best bit was when cones and bumpers fell off and everyone ginored red flags and just drifted through the debris.
I hadnt bought any track time but i bought 15 minutes for £40. It took an hour to queue to get sound checked as people were queuing in the sound check lane for track and people kept crashing every 5 minutes. I should have ignored hte one way system and have reversed into the sound check area as they were only sitting around having coffee the entire time. Guy infront in a blaze dturbo had no idea and was waiting for marshalls to send him to sound test so i told him what to do only to have him stop and chat to his mates infront of me... idiot. So i got sound checked at 4.30 when my session was 4.15... and then i finally got my 4.15 session at 5.15...
Car was great on track and only issue was that the exhaust started blowing horrifically. Footage is on piggys camera who wont be online for a while but hope that footage is good!
Then we drove home and did a few tunnel runs. Decent footage with the gopro and gimbal.
Guys. Just want to give an apology for the ticket situation. They were posted out on Monday morning so should of been there Tuesday...Wednesday at the latest! Don't know what the hell happened but it seems like only 2 people got them. Im glad everyone got in and if anyone had to buy a ticket to get it, let me know and ill refund the money you paid us for the postage.

Popped along for the afternoon saw the jenvey'ed 306 and also the silver 206 going very well nice to see how some good driving can outdo some of the more powerful/expensive cars on the track
