You're fave local road by number or gps postcode etc?
Mine is the Dukes pass A821 from Aberfoyle end!

A83 through Argyle and Bute from Arrochar to say Lochgilphead.

Amazing corners, amazing views, little traffic, huge overtaking opportunitys.

   




I do want to try that A821 next time I'm up.

I have two locally that I often drive in a loop that are epic for twisty's, the route is about 55 miles i can rinse half a tank of fuel but its an excellent shakedown for the car

B4030 and B4077 going from Bicester to Tewkesbury is a cracking drive IMHO.

Just gotta hit it when there's no traffic about.

That's a fair few miles from Glasgow (just looked and it's 250)! On the other hand it means not too many can be arsed to drive that far. The view from the top is awesome, a mix of water and land in nearly equal proportions or at least that's the memory I have of it. We pitched a couple of tents on the seashore that night and woke up to see a herd of deer sharing it with us. Closest I've found to an alpine road in the UK.

Looks like u take the A895 to Tornapress and hang a left over some water and enjoy the ride!

I remember driving this road in my XUD, lovely and clear the whole way. Enjoyed it so much I didn't want to stop for fuel, pretty much on fumes by the end of it.
