Desperately needs lowering now the struts and springs are just sat in my room just need the motivation and someone to do my beam shortly after I do the fronts.
Well there's been quite a lot of work since the last update so bare with me
![]() I found out fitting the Lynx pulley did not help my engine rattle so I decided to next rule out the AUX tensioners. Picked up both tensioners new from Ebay for £40, fitting was not hard just annoying really as to remove the top auto tensioner from the engine the crank pulley has to come off.....again! so put them both on and while the pulley was off I put my dampened one back on and sold the Lynx one. It now does sound nicer and I think the tensioners have helped. ![]() ![]() On the whole car it seems that any marks or chips are all on the side bump strips and it kinda ruins the look of a clean car imo so jumped on Ebay and picked up a full set of strips for only £10! wrong colour but that can be easily changed. After these are fitted I will hopefully have one of the cleanest HDIs around currently. ![]() ![]() On more exciting news I have started collecting parts for Stage 2. Up to yet I have a Darkside Developments 45PSI Intercooler, Manual Boost Controler, TIM Boost gauge & some VAC piping for the MBC. All I need now is some decent quality intercooler pipes made up (back to custom pipes!) & Pro Steve to work his magic again. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have had Scan Gauges in the past and came across this copy of one and from looking at reviews it was pretty much the same but half price. I did a quick search and couldn't see anyone with a 306 having one so took a chance and low and behold it would not connect. I made a thread and Cully mentioned he did the same thing a few years ago and he never got his to work either ![]() ![]() I took a trip over to a good friends garage, he runs/owns RickyP RPM Tuning a french car specialist in South Yorkshire who do all sorts of work from the very basic up to building full track cars for customers with deep pockets ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Its very very low with the splitter! it may have to come off soon...... ![]() ......... .......... I was in Halfords and saw they had an offer on DAB car stereos....I had always fancied one but they were a bit to expensive usually considering I had a decent head unit already. BUT all the below for £70 was too good an offer to pass up ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Picked these bad boys up from a mate for a great price ![]() ![]() Thats all for now folks. ![]()
